DANG: A motorbike accident in Dang has claimed the life of a 22-year-old youth.
The deceased has been identified as Bibek Subedi from Guidehar, Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-6, according to the police.
The accident occurred when two motorbikes collided at Gurje Khola, Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-16.
One motorbike (Ra 8 Pa 341) was heading from Ghorahi to Tulsipur, while the other (Ra 2 Pa 6163) was traveling in the opposite direction from Tulsipur to Ghorahi.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Chakra Bahadur Shah, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dang, said that Subedi sustained serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to the Rapti Institute of Health Sciences, Ghorahi. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
The police are conducting further investigations to determine the cause of the accident.
