Gold price down by Rs 1,000 per tola today

KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which had been rising steadily for the past three days, has decreased today (Friday).

Gold prices, which had been climbing since Tuesday and peaked at Rs 171,000 per tola on Thursday, dropped by Rs 1,000 today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the current market price of gold has been set at Rs 170,000 per tola.

In addition, the price of silver has also fallen by Rs 5 per tola.

The federation reports that silver is being bought and sold for Rs 1,990 per tola today.
