Gold and silver prices rise

KATHMANDU: The prices of gold and silver have seen a modest increase in the local market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has gone up by Rs 500 per tola, while silver has increased by Rs 10.

As of today, one tola of gold is priced at Rs 171,000, up from Rs 170,500 on Wednesday.

Similarly, silver is now being traded at Rs 1,995 per tola, compared to Rs 1,985 the previous day.
