Doctors remove tube from PM Oli’s throat

KATHMANDU: Doctors at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) have removed a tube placed in Prime Minister KP Oli’s throat on Wednesday.

Doctors in Singapore had placed the tube in Prime Minister Oli’s heart by last month.

Dr Arun Sayami of Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre said they have removed the tube placed in the prime minister’s heart while doing the plasmapheresis.

It took them not more than 15 minutes to remove the tube.

Prime Minister Oli had returned to Kathmandu on September 6 from Singapore after undergoing plasmapheresis.
