3 Nepalis killed, 1 seriously injured in Saudi Arabia road accident

KATHMANDU: Three Nepalis were killed and one seriously injured in a tragic road accident in Saudi Arabia.

According to the Nepali Embassy in Saudi Arabia, the deceased have been identified as Rupak Karki from Udayapur, Krishna Khatri from Palpa, and Min Bahadur Rana from Kapilvastu.

Suk Bahadur Limbu from Ilam sustained serious injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

The accident occurred when a bus carrying Nepali workers collided with a trailer on the Refinery Road in Jizan, Saudi Arabia.

In addition to the Nepali casualties, nine Indian nationals and three people from Ghana also lost their lives. A total of 11 individuals were injured in the incident.
