12 infected with dengue virus in far-west

KAILALI: As many as 12 people have been infected with dengue virus in the four districts of the Far-west Province.

According to Far-west Regional Health Directorate, Doti, five people have been infected with dengue virus in Darchula, four in Kailali, and one each in Achham, Kanchanpur and Doti.

A man has already died of dengue virus in Doti. The deceased is Chhatra Malasi, 42, of Dipayal Silgadhi Municipality-6, Thalpa.
