8th Chamber Expo to promote trade and local products



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC) has announced the 8th Chamber Expo, set to take place from January 30 to February 3, 2025, in Kathmandu.

Organized in collaboration with the Trade and Exports Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, the annual expo aims to promote local products and expand trade opportunities.

The event will serve as a platform for business communities from Nepal and countries including Bangladesh, China, Thailand, the UAE, South Korea, Malaysia, and Pakistan.

Over 200 stalls will showcase a wide range of goods, such as handicrafts, jewelry, cosmetics, electronic appliances, and more.

Rastra Bhusan Chakubaji, Chair of the Chamber Expo Committee, highlighted the expo’s potential to introduce participants to new dimensions in trade management, technological advancements, and international economic trends.

The NCC stated that the Chamber Expo is a key event for supporting local businesses, marketing domestic products, and fostering international trade relationships. It also offers attendees the opportunity to explore a diverse array of goods and strengthen cross-border business ties.
