Gold price down by Rs 100 per tola today



KATHMANDU: Gold prices, which had seen a slight increase last Friday, have fallen again today.

After declining for five consecutive days last week, gold prices briefly rose on Friday, only to drop once more today.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation, the price of gold has decreased by 100 rupees per tola today.

Gold, which was trading at 160,100 rupees last Friday, is now being sold for 160,000 rupees per tola.

On October 31, gold prices reached an all-time high, peaking at 171,000 rupees per tola. Since then, gold has fallen by 11,000 rupees over the past two weeks.

Meanwhile, silver prices have also dropped by Rs 5 per tola today.

Silver, which was priced at Rs 1,900 per tola last Friday, is now trading at 1,895 rupees per tola, according to the Federation.
