8 dead in Kakilot SUV accident



KATHMANDU: At least eight people lost their lives in an SUV accident in Kalikot’s Palata Rural Municipality on Sunday afternoon. Authorities have yet to release the names and identities of the deceased.

According to local police, the incident occurred on a challenging rural road, though details surrounding the cause of the accident remain unclear.

Police and army rescue teams have arrived at the site to assist and conduct further investigations, and updates are expected as they gather more information.
