KATHMANDU: The police have urged travelers to consider an alternative route due to significant road damage on the highway in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality-2 and 3.

This issue affects the road to Kathmandu via Makwanpur-Hetauda-Kulekhani-Fakhel.

Police Inspector Lalita Dhakal from the Area Police Office in Bhimfedi stated that travelers heading to Kathmandu from Hetauda are advised to take the Tribhuvanarajpath and Kantilokpath routes instead.

Dhakal that local police are directing vehicles from Bhaise to Kathmandu via Palung on the Tribhuvanrajpath, as the road has deteriorated to the extent that small vehicles struggle to navigate the uphill section near Kulekhani Simkhola.
