Four detained for stealing from Chinese national in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four individuals for allegedly breaking into the rented room of a Chinese national in Kathmandu. The suspects reportedly targeted Luo Jialian, 57, who resides on the top floor of Anjali Tamrakar in Pepsicola.

The assailants stole Rs 1,900,000 by breaking into an iron locker. The arrested individuals—Manish Sapkota, Dhanesh Lama, Duyuk Sapkota, and Srimaya Tamang—were apprehended from various locations around Kathmandu. Police have also confiscated six mobile phones from the suspects.
