Tourism Department and NTB to remain open during Dashain



KATHMANDU: The Department of Tourism and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) will continue their services during the Dashain festival.

Essential services from both agencies will remain operational throughout the holiday period.

NTB Director Maniraj Lamichhane stated that the NTB office will be open for half days every day, except for Dashami, the day of Tika during the Bijaya Dashami festival.

The Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) Support Center and the Tourist Information Center will be available from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Additionally, Rakesh Gurung, Director of the Department of Tourism, stated that the mountain climbing permit service will also continue.

The Department’s operations will remain consistent, even on public holidays.
