Bomb explodes at ward office in Jhapa

BIRTAMOD: A bomb exploded at a ward office in Birtamod of Jhapa on Monday morning.

The Area Police Office, Anarmani said that the bomb went off at the joint office of ward 7, 8 and 9 of Birtamod municipality early morning.

Police Inspector Sunil Shrestha informed that the explosion smashed the windows of the joint ward office.

The culprits are yet to be identified, police said. The explosion has caused damages to the outer part of the office.
