Walking is always good for you



Walking is always a good cardio exercise. It is advised to go at a brisk pace of at least 3.5 kilometers per hour.

How much to walk

Walking at least 3.5 kilometers an hour is a moderate exercise. However, health experts and doctors recommend 45 minutes a day.

Adults should make more than 10,000 steps over the course of a day. If you don’t move much, at least try for 3,000 steps a day on the first day and add 1,000 steps each week.

Why walking is a good exercise

You can do it anytime or anywhere.

It won’t cost you anything except for a good pair of shoes.

It’s gentle on your body.

Moreover, walking in nature is good for your mental health.
