NC leader Prakashman hospitalized after urinary infection



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Prakashman Singh has been admitted to the Bhaisepati-based Mediciti Hospital following a urinary infection and continuous fever.

The 64-year-old leader was hospitalized on the recommendation of doctors, according to his aide UP Lamichhane.

Earlier, he had been taking a rest at home for the last five days as he was not feeling well. He was diagnosed with a high blood sugar level, fever and urine infection. He is undergoing treatment and his health condition is gradually improving, the hospital said.
