Weather to remain cloudy with chances of light rainfall



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s weather is currently influenced by a partial effect of local winds, westerly winds, and a low-pressure system.

Currently, light rain with thunder and lightning is occurring in a few places in Koshi and Madhesh provinces.

This afternoon, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy in the hilly areas of the country, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to mostly clear weather.

There is a possibility of light to moderate rain in most parts of the hilly areas and light rain with thunder and lightning in one or two places in the rest of the country.

Light snowfall is possible in one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan areas.

Tonight, the weather will remain partly cloudy to mostly clear in the hilly areas, including Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Province.

Light rain with thunder and lightning gusts is possible in one or two places in these hilly areas.
