KATHMANDU: Pakistani cricket legend Shoaib Akhtar, popularly known as the “Rawalpindi Express,” was honoured at a meet-and-greet reception organized by Himalayan Sports at the Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal, Mohammad Aamir Khan, attended the event and addressed the gathering.
The reception celebrated cricket’s universal appeal and its ability to bring people together. It also highlighted the sport’s potential to strengthen people-to-people connections and foster closer friendship between Nepal and Pakistan.
