Deputy PM Yadav heads to US for Population Commission Session



KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav, departed for the United States of America (USA) this evening.

As a representative of the government, Minister Yadav will participate in the fifty-seventh session of the Commission on Population and Development, scheduled to take place in New York from April 29 to May 3.

Minister Yadav is expected to return home on May 7.

Additionally, the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal’s publicity department chief, Purna Basnet, said that JSP Chairman Yadav has designated party central executive committee member Rajendra Prasad Shrestha as the Acting Chairman of JSP, Nepal.
