PM Dahal calls for unified communist center

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has underscored the necessity for a unified communist center, coupled with power sharing, to tackle the prevalent challenges in the country.

Issuing a message on the occasion of Nepal Communist Party’s 75th founding day, Prime Minister Dahal, who also serves as the Chairman of the Maoist Center, stressed the importance of unity among all communist and left-wing forces.

“In our journey towards achieving good governance, social justice, and prosperity, collaboration among left-wing, patriotic, and progressive forces is indispensable, drawing from our collective experiences of ideological struggles and unity,” stated Dahal in his message.

“It is imperative to imbue our shared aspiration for a single communist center with meaning through power equilibrium, cooperation, and camaraderie.”

He further emphasized the significance of engaging in comprehensive discussions on ideological and political matters among left-wing forces, along with reflecting upon and synthesizing past experiences, to arrive at a common understanding.
