PM Cup Cricket: Nepal Police locking horns with Tribhuvan Army



KATHMANDU: The Prime Minister’s Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament continues with two matches today.

The spotlight falls on the clash between Nepal Police Club and Tribhuvan Army Club at Siddharth Nagar Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa, scheduled to kick off at 9 am.

Nepal Police has emerged as an undefeated force in the ongoing league, securing a commendable fourth position with 4 points from two games.

Meanwhile, Tribhuvan Army, with 4 points from three matches, is gearing up to challenge the Police in a bid to climb the rankings.

In a simultaneous showdown at 9:30 am, Gandaki and Koshi provinces will lock horns at Mulpani Cricket Ground in Kathmandu.

Both teams are yet to secure a victory in the tournament, with Gandaki having played three matches and Koshi participating in five.

As the league unfolds, Sudurpaschim leads the pack with 6 points from three matches.

Bagmati follows closely in second place, having played five matches and accumulated 6 points.

Additionally, Madhesh Pradesh holds the third spot with 6 points from five games.
