PM Cup Men’s Cricket: Three matches scheduled for today



KATHMANDU: The Prime Minister’s Cup Men’s National Cricket Tournament continues with three matches scheduled for today.

The match between Karnali and Sudurpaschim Pradesh will take place at Siddharthnagar Cricket Ground in Bhairahawa, commencing at 9 am.

Both Karnali and Sudurpaschim emerged victorious in their opening matches and are geared up for their second encounter today.

Karnali triumphed over Gandaki, while Sudurpaschim secured a win against Lumbini in their respective first matches.

In another fixture, Koshi Province will face off against Nepal Police at TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.

The match is set to kick off at 9:30 AM. Koshi Pradesh, yet to secure a win, faces a formidable Police Club, who emerged victorious in their first match.

Simultaneously, the battle intensifies as Bagmati Province clashes with Madhesh Province at Mulpani Cricket Ground at 9:30.

Bagmati aims for redemption after losing both previous matches, while Madhesh Pradesh, with one win and one loss, seeks to strengthen its position.

The current standings on the points table reveal APF Club at the pinnacle, having won both matches and accumulated four points.

Gandaki, Bagmati, and Koshi provinces, having played two games each, are still in search of their first victory in the tournament.
