PM’s Cup Cricket: APF and Koshi to clash for title today



KATHMANDU: The final match of the Prime Minister’s Cup Women’s T-20 national tournament is being played between APF and Koshi Pradesh teams today.

The anticipated match, commencing at 11 am at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, will witness a fierce battle for the title between the formidable departmental team APF and the resilient Koshi Pradesh.

APF has dominated the tournament, securing an undefeated record to reach the finals.

Emerging victorious in all league-stage matches and triumphing in the first qualifier, APF secured their spot in the championship clash by overcoming Koshi Pradesh with a convincing 52-run margin.

On the other hand, Koshi Pradesh, having faced defeat in the initial qualifier, demonstrated resilience in the second qualifier by defeating Sudurpaschim Province by 9 wickets, earning themselves a well-deserved place in the finals.

This match marks the third showdown between APF and Koshi in the ongoing tournament.

APF emerged triumphant in both previous matches, defeating Koshi by 8 wickets during the league stage.

Now, in today’s encounter, Koshi Pradesh has the opportunity for redemption, aiming to turn the tables and secure victory against the formidable APF squad.
