TAPLEJUNG: One person died in a road accident at Sirijungha rural municipality-8, Yamphudin in Taplejung.
Jeep driver Nishan Limbu, aged around 30, of Fungling municipality-5 died in the accident last night, confirmed Police Inspector and Information Officer of District Police Office, Taplejung, Kamal Lungeli.
According to him, the Bolero jeep (Province 1-01-001 Ja 3437) en route to Chhebuk from Bhotegaun of Yamphudin met with an accident.
He said the jeep driver died on the spot in the accident that took place when the jeep went uncontrolled and then overturned.
