Nepali team gets showers of congratulations for qualifying for the ICC T-20 World Cup 2024

KATHMANDU: Following the Friday’s victory against UAE that qualified Nepal for ICC T20 Men’s World Cup 2024, Nepali team has got wide applaud from all sides.

Prime Minister and Chairman of the  CPN-Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, extended his congratulations.

Chairman of CPN-UML, KP Oli, also conveyed his felicitations for their persistent efforts in reaching the World Cup through social media.

Similarly,  Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Thapa expressed his congratulations through social media, and Speaker Devraj Ghimire also conveyed his best wishes.

Likewise, prominent figures, artists, and the general public have taken to social media to congratulate the Nepali team.

Nepal has qualified for the T20 World Cup for the second time in a decade. Their previous qualification came in 2014 when they secured a spot in the World Cup held in Bangladesh.
