KATHMANDU: Kushal Malla and Dipendra Singh Airee each scored a half-century against Hong Kong in the tri-nation T20 series undergoing in Kathmandu.
Playing 41 balls, he scored 92 against Hong Kong. Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airee scored 57 in 34 balls.
Earlier, Aashif Sheikh scored 20 runs while captain Rohit Paudel was dismissed after scoring 11 runs. For Nepal, Sompal Kami scored 8 runs and Kushal Bhurtel scored only 2 runs.
Ayush Shukla, Harum Arshad, Azad Khan, and Mohammad Ghazanfar have taken one wicket each for Hong Kong.
Prior to this match, Nepal defeated UAE by 7 wickets and Hong Kong by 6 wickets. Provided Nepal wins today’s match, Nepal will reach the final of the series.
While Nepal scored four points, UAE and Hong Kong have failed to score points. After two matches between the three teams, the top two in the points table will play the final.
