KATHMANDU: BP Highway has been blocked due to landslides triggered by incessant rains at Golenjor and Sunkohsi Rural Municipality.
According to SP Chakra Bahadur Singh of District Police Office, Sindhuli, landslides occurred in between Solabhanjyang and Khaniyakharka in Golenjor Rural Municipality-5.
Similarly, the highway was blocked at Kamere due to landslides in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, said Singh. Works are underway to remove the debris in coordination the coordination with the chief of rural municipality.
Passengers have been hit due to the road blockage.
