One killed in Hetauda road accident



HETAUDA: One person has died in a road accident that took place last night in Chowki tole of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city-2.

Amit Kapadi, 25 years old resident of Hetauda-1 Jaruwatol, who was pillion riding a scooter, was hit by a truck (Ba. Pra. 03-001B 851) coming from the opposite direction.

Seriously injured, Kapadi died during treatment at the hospital, District Police Office Makwanpur, Police Inspector Ramchandra Ghimire said.

The person riding the scooter sustained minor injuries and returned home after treatment.

Meanwhile, the tipper driver has been detained by the police for necessary investigation.
