Pakistan Embassy Scholarships awarded



KATHMANDU: Chairperson of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina gave away the “Ambassador of Pakistan Scholarships” to 198 Nepali students at a function held here today.

The scholarships are awarded to deserving and bright students of government schools selected by the respective Principals from across Nepal, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of Pakistan in Kathmandu.

This year, under the 11th Annual Scholarship Award Ceremony, 198 students from 43 schools were awarded including one laptop to the Best Student.

Speaking at the occasion, NC Chair Timilsina lauded Pakistan for its continued support and advancing people-to-people contacts between the two countries, especially in the field of education.

He appreciated the Embassy’s efforts in bringing the youth of the two countries closer.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to Nepal Abrar H Hashmi expressed his resolve and desire to further expand the scholarship program and strengthen Pakistan-Nepal bilateral relations.
