Nepal sees 21 new coronavirus cases in past 24 hours, active cases 100



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 21 new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.

Out of the confirmed cases, 12 were detected through the RT-PCR method and nine through Antigen method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 1,103 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

Out of the samples tested, 384 were tested through RT-PCR method and 719 through Antigen method.

Currently, there are 100 active cases in the country as 24 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
