KATHMANDU: The match between Nepal and Kuwait interrupted by rain has resumed in the TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.
After losing the toss and being invited to bat first at the TU Cricket Ground, Nepal lost 4 wickets in 30.4 overs and scored 198 runs.
As the match was stopped for more than an hour due to rain, the match will be curtailed.
Currently, Nepal’s captain Rohit Paudel is playing at the crease scoring 60 runs in 65 balls. Aarif Sheikh is supporting him in the crease.
Earlier, Nepal, which started well, was under pressure after losing three top batsmen to score three runs. Kushal Bhurtel was dismissed for 43 runs off 39 balls with 7 fours and 1 six. He was caught out by Yasin Patel in the fifth ball of the 10th over. After that, Bhim Sarki was caught out in the third ball of the 11th over, and Aasif Sheikh in the second ball of the 12th over for 31 runs. Kushal Malla was out after scoring 57 runs.
