ACC Men’s Premier Cup: Nepal enters semi-final, shares points with Saudi Arabia



KATHMANDU: After the match between Nepal and Saudi Arabia scheduled for Monday morning at Mulpani Cricket Ground, Kathmandu has been canceled due to rain, Nepal has shared points with Saudi Arabia and entered the semi-final.

After the game scheduled for 9:00 am got delayed and could not start even after 1 pm, Nepal missed the chance of playing against Saudi Arabia on Monday.

Nepal was aiming to make it to the semi-finals by winning the match today.

Despite the cancellation of the match, Nepal reached the semi-finals after both teams shared one point each. Nepal has won two games consecutively in the tournament.

Nepal beat Malaysia in the first match, and Oman in the second match.

In Group A, Nepal, who have collected four points from the first two games, have reached the last four by collecting five points, including today’s one. Oman is in second place with four points from three games.

The top two teams from the group will qualify for the semi-finals. The winner of the tournament will secure a place in the Asia Cup.
