ACC Premier Cup: No tickets required to watch games at Mulpani Stadium



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has decided to provide the opportunity of watching the games under the ACC Premier League games to be played in Mulpani Cricket Stadium free of cost.

According to CAN sources, tickets will not be required to watch all the matches to be held at the Mulpani Ground under the ACC Premier Cup to be held next month in Kathmandu.

The matches of the tournament, which will start on April 18, will be held at TU Cricket Stadium and Mulpani Cricket Stadium.

“Tickets will be charged to watch the matches in TU Ground, but free entry will be allowed to watch the matches in Mulpani,” Chatur Bahadur Chand, the CAN President said.

Chand informed that the Kageshwari Manohara municipality has helped to upgrade the ground and the entry fee has been waived at the request of the municipality.

Nepal will face Saudi Arabia on April 24 at Mulpani ground.

The 10 teams participating in the competition have been divided into two groups.

Group A includes Nepal, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia, and Saudi Arabia.

Group B consists of UAE, Hong Kong, Kuwait, Singapore, and Bahrain.

In the first match, Nepal and Malaysia will play in Kirtipur on April 18, while Hong Kong and Singapore will compete in Mulpani.

The winner of the tournament will secure a place in the Asia Cup in Pakistan.
