Fire guts property worth Rs 3.2 million in Tanahu



TANAHU: A huge amount of property was gutted in a fire at Devghat rural municipality-5 of Tanahu.

The property worth Rs 3.2 million was destroyed when Bhattarai Agriculture and Goat Farm run by a local Buddhi Prasad Upadhyay caught fire.

Four goats died and 18 goats were injured in the incidnet, said police. According to Area Police Chief, Krishna Bahadur Baniya, the fire destroyed the goat hut as well as poultry feeds. The farm had 62 goats, five buffaloes, and four cows.

A fire engine from Bharatpur Metropolitan City, police personnel and locals doused the fire after three hours.
