KATHMANDU: Defeating Namibia by a wide margin of 10 wickets on Wednesday, Scotland has placed itself at the top of the ICC Cricket World Cup League-2 with still three matches to be played.
With this win, Scotland has 48 points in League-2 consisting of 7 countries. Having played all 36 matches, Oman is in second place with 44 points.
Namibia, who lost to Scotland, has 37 points from 32 games and is in third place. Nepal, having played 25 matches, is in the sixth place.
In the undergoing series, Nepal defeated Namibia chasing a huge target of 286 runs in the match played at TU Cricket Ground, Kirtipur, Kathmandu on Tuesday.
