KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Thapa held talks with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ prior to the meeting of the high-level political mechanism.
Thapa reached Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar and discussed the current political developments, the election of the President, among other issues.
The CPN-UML is expressing doubts after the Maoist Center took the stand of seeking national consensus to elect a new President.
It should be noted that Thapa had on Wednesday said the UML’s presidential candidate will be defeated.
