Taxi-car collision kills two in Lalitpur



KATHMANDU: Two people were killed when a car and a taxi collided near Satdobato, Lalitpur last night.

Police identified the deceased as Saroj BK travelling in the taxi and Dhan Bahadur Basnet travelling in car.

The taxi (Ba 2 Ja 3420) was going towards Satdobato from Koteshwar and the car (Ba 4 Cha 1) was coming from the opposite direction.

Six passengers travelling in both vehicles sustained injuries in the accident, said Senior Superintendent Yagya Binod Pokharel, Chief of Lalitpur District Police Office. They are undergoing treatment at the B&B Hospital.
