PM Dahal offers tribute to martyrs



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’paid tribute to the martyrs on the occassion of Martyrs day on Monday.

Prime Minister Dahal reached Shahid Memorial Park at Lainchaur in Kathmandu and laid a wreath there.

On the occasion, the PM stated that the federal democratic republic was possible due to martyrs’ life sacrifice.
He is scheduled to inaugurate the Martyrs’ Park at Jagdol in Gokarna today itself.

The Day is being observed with various programmes across the country today. On the occasion, a morning procession was organised that started from Shanti Battika and concluded at Lainchaur.
