Province 1 CM Karki extends Lhosar greetings



BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister of Province no 1 Hikmat Kumar Karki has extended best wishes to all Nepali nationals within the country and abroad on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar festival.

The Sonam Lhosar is an annual festival celebrated by the Tamang people to welcome the New Year.

In a message of best wishes he gave today, Chief Minister Karki believed that this festival observed on the first day of the bright half in the month of Magh according to the lunar calendar contributes to promoting fraternity, goodwill and unity among the Nepalis.

He observed that various festivals celebrated by different communities in keeping with their traditions and customs have made culturally rich.

Chief Minister Karki wished for the happiness, good health, peace and prosperity of all the Nepalis on this auspicious occasion.
