JANAKPURDHAM: The Madhes Province government has formed a high-level committee to promote good governance by making effective service delivery and speeding up development works.
A five-member committee has been formed under the coordination of the Secretary at the governance reform and coordination division of the Chief Minister’s Office, Noorhari Khatiwada.
Undersecretaries at the ministries of finance; industry, forest and tourism; home affairs; and communications are the members.
The first Council of Ministers meeting of the newly formed province government took a decision in this regard.
The committee has been mandated to furnish a report within fifteen days, according to Minister without portfolio, Saroj Yadav.
