Yeti Air plane carrying 72 people crashes near Pokhara Airport
Yeti Airlines plane, which flew from Kathmandu Airport on Sunday morning carrying 72 people, including four crew members, crashed near Pokhara Airport. According to Kaski Police Chief SP Ajay KC, the Yeti Air ATR flight from Kathmandu met crashed while the plane was in the process of landing.
Yeti plane crash update: 69 bodies recovered so far
The bodies of 69 passengers have been recovered from the Yeti Airlines aircraft crash site in Pokhara. Yeti Airlines-N ANC ATR, which was flying from Kathmandu to Pokhara with 72 people, including 68 passengers and four crew members, crashed in a Seti gorge on Sunday morning.
Govt declares mourning holiday on Monday
The government has decided to give mourning leave tomorrow on January 16. According to government spokesman Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, the meeting of the Council of Ministers held today in Baluwatar decided to grant mourning holiday at the human loss caused at the plane crash of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara.
Yeti Airlines crash: The identity of the passengers on board revealed
The details of the passengers on board on the Yeti Airlines plane which crashed on Sunday morning has been revealed. According to Yeti Airlines sources, there were eight foreigners and six infants in the plane.

US Embassy “saddened” by tragic Yeti Airlines crash
The Embassy of United States in Kathmandu has said it is “deeply saddened” by the tragic Yeti Airlines crash in Pokhara this morning. “We are monitoring the situation carefully. We are currently not aware of any U.S. citizens on board. Our hearts go out to the victims and families,” the Embassy said on Sunday.
Govt mandates technical test before domestic flight
The government has directed all the airlines companies towards the domestic service to ensure a technical test before the operation of a flight. An emergency meeting of the Council of Ministers took place today following the crash of ATR-72 plane belonging to Yeti Airlines in Pokhara of Kaski today assigned the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to monitor whether airlines companies follow the direction, according to Deputy Prime Minister who is also the Government Spokesperson Bishnu Poudel.

Yeti plane crash: Aircraft had taken permission to land
The aircraft of Yeti Airlines that crashed in Pokhara today had taken permission for landing, according to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN).
