Nov 20 election a contest between progressive and regressive forces: KC



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Rastriya Janamorcha, Chitra Bahadur KC, has said that CPN-UML has no moral right to ask for votes.

Speaking at an election meeting in Baglung, KC said that the party, which repeatedly tried to “finish” the people-elected parliament, cannot ask for votes.

KC, who is also a candidate for Baglung-1 to the House of Representatives from the ruling coalition, said that the current five-party coalition was formed to protect the constitution.

He further claimed that all “regressive forces” will collapse in the November 20 elections.

“If the UML led by KP Oli wins the election and forms the government, the Constitution will be scrapped and there are chances that the monarchy will be reinstated,” he claimed.

“Therefore, I have been repeatedly saying that UML Chairman KP has lost his moral right to go to the people,” he added.

He further stated that the November 20 election will be a contest between the progressive and the regressive forces.
