FNJ Corporate Province condoles demise of senior journalist Shrestha



KATHMANDU: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Corporate Province Committee has expressed its sorrow over demise of senior journalist Kedarman Singh Shrestha on Wednesday.

Shrestha who had been long suffering from heart ailments breathed his last amidst the treatment in Kathmandu, according to the family source. He was 81.

Shrestha worked for the Agency France-Press (AFP) for 40 years and for the Nepal’s representative to the BBC for 20 years.

Lately, he was the independent content contributor to various newspapers.

He, the resident of Bhotebahal, Kathmandu-21, is survived by his spouse, a daughter and a son.

The Committee assessed that death of senior journalist Shrestha is an irreparable loss to the Nepali journalism.
