Six policemen injured in clash with locals in Nuwakot’s Bancharedanda
Police fired six rounds of tear gas shells and arrested at least 18 locals of Bancharedanda who pelted stones at the police on Wednesday.
At least six policemen were injured in the clash between the locals and the police at Bancharedanda in Nuwakot district.

Switzerland agrees to assist Nepal for ReMi project
Nepal and Switzerland have signed an agreement for the implementation of the project “Reintegration of Returnee Migrant Workers (ReMi)” utilizing the Swiss Franc 6.8 million (equivalent to Rs. 861.3 million).
The objective of project is to help workers returning from foreign employment reestablish themselves in society and actively participate in social, cultural, economic, and political life.
NEPSE increases by 60.22 points Wednesday

The market increased by 60.22 points and reached 2080.44 points today. The market started from 2019.54 points and stopped at 2080.44 points.
NYFN lodges complaint at CIAA demanding investigation into irregularities in the embossed number plates

Japanese Ambassador Yutaka calls on Army Chief Sharma
KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Japan to Nepal Kikuta Yutaka on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on Chief of the Army Staff Prabhu Ram Sharma at the headquarters of the Nepal Army.

A four-member suggestion committee has been formed to give necessary suggestions to improve the deteriorating condition of the Nepali share market.
Speaking at the 30th Annual General Meeting of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Finance Minister Janardan Sharma said the government has formed a four-member committee to give suggestions for the facilitation of the share market.
