Marasini appointed captain of U-19 women’s cricket team



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has appointed Kritika Marasini as the captain of the U-19 national women’s cricket team.

Issuing a press release here today, the CAN has stated that Marasini has been appointed as the captain for the ICC U-19 Women’s World Cup qualifying round to be held in Malaysia.

Nepal, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, China, Bhutan, Myanmar and Qatar will participate in the qualifying tournament which will start on June 4.

It may be noted Nepal has already announced an 18-member squad for the competition.
