KATHMANDU: Nepal and Zimbabwe are facing each other in the first match of the T20 series on Sunday.

The game will be played at Kirtipur ground at 1 p.m.

Nepal, which is preparing for the triangular series under the Cricket World Cup-2 to be held in the United States in June, has organized three T20 and three ODI series against Zimbabwe in preparation for the same.

Nepal had lost the two-match ODI series 2-0 against Chait Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Nepal had won the triangular T20 match series between PNG and Malaysia.

Nepal, therefore, wants to maintain its victory journey.

Nepal was scheduled to play its first match of the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe on Saturday. But the game was canceled due to continuous rain.

The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Saturday changed the pre-determined game schedule and announced the schedule for the first T20 series.

CAN has announced a 16-member squad for the T20 series under the captaincy of Sandeep Lamichhane.
