Two held in possession of Rs 1.6 mln without clear source



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two individuals with Rs 1.6 million whose source is yet to be identified.

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested Dipendra Sunar, 31, of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-11, currently staying at Bandipur, Tanahun and Sagar Yadav, 33, of Indian State of Maharashtra.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking them into custody of Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju.

A team of police deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju arrested them during security check, said SP Dinesh Raj Mainali, the spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu.
