KATHMANDU: An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale has rattled far-west Nepal on Tuesday morning.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, Lainchaur, the tremors were recorded at 6:3 am with its epicenter at Sainpasela in Durgathali rural municipality of the Bajhang district.
No casualties and damages caused by the earthquake have been reported so far, according to the District Administration Office, Bajhang.
The tremors were felt in all seven hilly districts of Sudurpashchim Province, the locals said.
Earlier, a 4.2-magnitude earthquake had occurred on March 23 with its epicenter in the Taplejung district.
