Korean university confers honorary degree on PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Kangnam University of South Korea has conferred an honory degree of Doctor of Philosophy on Prime Minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli at a program organized by the university on Wednesday.

This is the fourth honorary degree to Oli’s credit.  He has already received honorary degrees from Peace University of Costa Rica, Govinda Ballab Pant Agriculture and Technical University, India.

Prior to that, Greenford University based in America also conferred an honorary degree on Oli.Seventy-year-old Kangnam University conferred this degree on Oli for his contribution to the field of politics.

Oli has spent more than two thirds of his life  to the field of politics, played an instrumental role in bringing Maoists to the main stream politics and establishing republic in Nepal.
