Books gather dust in federal parliament library

KATHMANDU:  Books are the treasure of knowledge and the library is the bank of books. The Federal Parliament  has established a library for lawmakers to study to equip them with the knowledge about related issues. However, the books have gathered dust.

According to Nepali Congress Lawmaker Gagan Thapa only 27  out of 334 parliamentarians entered the library  in the last five months.

Over 40,000 books on history, literature, politics, diplomacy and law are in the library. Meanwhile, some lawmakers have complained that there is no conducive environment to study due to the lack of management.
