Indian President Kovind confers Honorary General title on CoAS Sharma



NEW DELHI: Indian President Ram Nath Kovind has conferred the Honorary General title of the Indian Army on Chief of Army Staff (CoAS), General Prabhu Ram Sharma amidst a special ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today.

“President Kovind conferred the Honorary General title of the Indian Army on CoAS General Sharma,” tweeted the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Army Chief General Prabhu Ram Sharma, who is on a four-day visit to India, laid a wreath at the National War Memorial in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Sharma is in India at the official invitation of Indian Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane. He also met with Naravane after reaching India on Tuesday.
